- Wood staircase handrail for curving stairs or a balcony - new construction or remodel. Similar to LJ-6010 (2 1/4" W x 2 3/8" H) series (L.J. Smith).
- Our bending rail is manufactured from laminated hardwood, with no finger joints, using a solid top piece which is cut into strips, machined, and kept in order so that the grain matches very closely when it is glued tightly back together. This eliminates the striped or zebra look of using all different pieces of wood.
- Our bender rail also includes (2) outside bending profiles (bending molds) which allows you to be able to clamp the pieces together while gluing in a curved or bent position without causing damage to the handrail.
- We recommend that you have a minimum of 12 to 18 inches of extra handrail to continue your bending radius, and then cut to length after it is glued and sanded. We also recommend that the maximum bending radius of our 61-B (7 piece) be: rake (descending curve) - 54" and level (flat curve) - 60".
- Unfinished and ready to be painted, stained, or clear finished. Free from knots and defects. Made in the USA by Bonneville Manufacturing.
